Juno Mak calls out FedEx after luxury marble table shipped from France arrives shattered in HK

28th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) Juno Mak has publicly criticised FedEx after claiming a marble dining table he ordered from France was delivered in a severely damaged state. In a series of Instagram Stories, the singer‑director said the tabletop had been reduced to multiple fragments and the wooden legs were broken, adding that the frame beneath showed visible cracks. He tagged the courier’s official account and wrote that he was extremely dissatisfied and would not accept the condition of the shipment.

Mak’s posts included close‑up photos of the splintered stone and warped supports, with one image showing a long wooden leg bent before the outer cardboard had been removed, and another highlighting ruptures along the underside frame. The unusually colourful images — a departure from his typically monochrome feed — prompted online remarks that his anger was palpable.

Referencing information on the courier’s website, Mak pointed to its category for heavy consignments, described as items over 68 kilograms or exceeding specified length and girth thresholds, and its aim to provide a safe, streamlined service with one‑stop support. He also noted packaging guidance for bulky goods and availability of official materials, observing that it is unclear whether customer packaging is undertaken by the company. Citing the published claims policy, he said standard liability is limited to either 100 US dollars per shipment or 20 US dollars per kilogram (9.07 US dollars per pound), whichever is higher, implying compensation for costly bespoke furniture may ultimately be calculated by weight.
