28th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) Australian artist CJ Hendry has opened her Juju Mega Pop‑Up Exhibition in Central today, bringing the first large‑scale iteration of her cult plush character to the city for a limited run from 28th to 31st October. The Hong Kong showcase precedes a worldwide online release on 1st November and follows earlier local glimpses of the Juju phenomenon at Phillips last December and a Juju World installation at Pacific Place over the summer.
The Juju Mega arrives as a cuddle‑sized companion rather than a bag charm and is offered in 10 colourways, spanning monochrome options such as all‑black and all‑peach, bolder pairings including green with peach, and a special deer‑patterned edition. Visitors to the pop‑up can select their preferred colour directly rather than buying blind, with purchases capped at 10 pieces per person to deter hoarding. Each plush is priced at HKD 620 and once a colour sells out it will not be restocked during the event.
The exhibition is free to enter at M88 WOW, 2–8 Wellington Street, Central, and is open to the public from today through 31st October. An online drop follows on 1st November with a flat shipping rate of USD 20 worldwide and a limit of four plushies per order, giving overseas fans a formal route to purchase after the Hong Kong debut.
Hendry’s floppy‑eared Juju, distinguished by a single eye adorned with a leather flower, has evolved from playful art installations into a sought‑after design object, drawing dedicated queues whenever a pop‑up lands in the city. With Hong Kong chosen to unveil the Mega scale, collectors now have first pick of the full palette before the global roll‑out begins next week.
