17th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) Videos shared online on 16th October captured a violent melee on Granville Road in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, where at least five men were seen grappling at close quarters as punches and kicks flew in a fast‑moving confrontation. Amid shouts and scuffles, some participants appeared to wield objects as makeshift weapons while two women tried to intervene, calling out in an effort to calm tempers as passers‑by looked on.

As the skirmish spilt down the street, most of those involved scattered, leaving a handful behind. One man in a white top was visibly bleeding from the head and face while hurling expletives and threats. Another man dressed in black moved to the driver’s side of a nearby private car, striking repeatedly at the seated driver and using his elbow during the flurry. The injured man in white then re‑entered the fray despite his wounds, escalating tensions further.

Moments later, several men returned, some carrying sticks, believed to be associates of the motorist. The wounded man and his companions pulled back as the driver shut the car door, but a black‑jacketed man continued to kick at the vehicle before others swarmed him, knocking him to the ground and striking him, including with what looked like a stick. After the assault, the group fled in different directions, with one or more people leaving in the same private car, drawing startled attention from pedestrians and drivers in the busy district. Unconfirmed reports suggested the episode may have stemmed from an internal dispute among gang affiliates, though that claim has not been verified.

Police said they received a report at 6.34pm on 16th October of a fight outside 34 Granville Road involving around ten men, with injuries observed at the scene and wooden sticks reportedly present; a private car was also implicated. Officers arrived to find the parties had already dispersed and, after searches, found no suspects.
