25th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) The 28-year-old socialite Abby Choi who was brutally murdered by the family members her ex-husband and her body was dismembered. Disturbingly, two pots containing soup mixed with human tissue were discovered in the village house in Lung Mei Village where her body parts were discovered. Furthermore, minced human tissue was found scattered on the ground.
A massive police operation has been underway in Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery in Tseung Kwan O to search for further evidence related to the heinous crime. The police sealed off the cemetery after discovering that the head and hands of the victim, Choi, are still missing. Authorities suspect that one of the perpetrators abandoned some of the residual limbs in the area, prompting the deployment of nearly a hundred officers to conduct a large-scale search. However, as of now, no significant discoveries have been made.
The search operation, which began today, will be suspended later tonight before continuing tomorrow, as investigators remain committed to uncovering any additional clues that may lead to the discovery of the missing body parts. Police officers were divided into multiple groups to conduct a thorough search of the area, with divers even being deployed to explore various ponds in the cemetery.
The investigation has also revealed that the former aunt of the deceased was aware of the murder, but it remains unclear whether she was involved in the heinous plot. Meanwhile, her two daughters aged 8 and 10 shared with her ex-husband who has been arrested in Tung Chung, who will be temporarily taken care by Choi’s mother.
The police have sealed off a village house unit in Lung Mei Village, Tai Po, as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities remain tight-lipped about the details of the case, but it is evident that they are leaving no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators to justice.
