30th October 2026 – (Kyiv) Kyiv came under a ballistic missile attack on Thursday evening, with a series of powerful blasts heard across the capital and warehouses set ablaze in the Darnytsia district, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Emergency services were dispatched to the impacted area, and initial reports did not indicate any injuries.
Monitoring channels suggested Russia may have launched as many as eight ballistic missiles during the strike. Social media posts also referred to a possible hit near the Darnytskyi Bridge, though officials had not verified that claim by late evening. Authorities urged residents to stay in shelters due to the continuing threat of further strikes as firefighters worked to contain the blaze and assess damage.
