8th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) Leasing activity in Hong Kong’s luxury property market remains robust, as a prestigious house in Unir Garden, located at 4 Shek O Headland Road on Hong Kong Island, was recently rented out for a monthly sum of 115,000 Hong Kong dollars. The rent for this distinguished residence, owned by Ina Chan Un-chan, the third wife of the late Stanley Ho, reflects a slight four per cent decline compared with its rate two years prior, when it commanded 120,000 dollars per month.
The house in question, a single-numbered villa at 4 Shek O Headland Road, offers a saleable area of approximately 2,564 square feet and features a three-bedroom, three-ensuite layout. The ground floor comprises two ensuite bedrooms, a storage area and a rear garden, while the first floor houses the main living and dining spaces, a kitchen, and a guest washroom. The top floor is dedicated to the master suite with an adjoining dressing room. Additional facilities include a garage accommodating two vehicles and an adjoining platform of about 510 square feet. The effective rent works out to around 45 dollars per square foot, offering a competitive rate in the current market.
Unir Garden has a rich history, initially acquired in 1958 by Stanley Ho from the government and later held in the names of his first wife, Clementina Leitão, and subsequently their eldest son, Robert Ho Yau Kwong. After both passed away, the property was sold in 2006 for sixty million dollars to a company under Ina Chan, with redevelopment approved at a land premium exceeding ninety million dollars. The site was reconstructed in 2012 into four luxury villas, which have been consistently let ever since.
