29th November 2020 – (Hong Kong) 68-year-old Sammo Hung is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film producer and director, known for his work in many martial arts films and Hong Kong action cinema. He has been a fight choreographer for other actors such as Jackie Chan. In 1973, he married Jo Eun-ok, whom he grew up with in martial arts training school, and had three sons, Tin-Ming “Timmy” Hung, Tin Cheung “Jimmy” Hung, Tin Chiu “Sammy” Hung, and a daughter, Chan Yu “Stephanie” Hung (born 1983) with her. Hung divorced Jo in 1994.
He married model and actress Joyce Godenzi in 1995. Godenzi appeared in several of his films including The Haunted Island, Eastern Condors (both 1986), Spooky Spooky (1988), Paper Marriage (1988) and She Shoots Straight (1990) prior to the pair becoming a couple. She also appeared in Mr. Nice Guy (1997).
It is known that 37-year-old Stephanie Hung is the most favoured child of Sammo Hung. After graduating from university, she worked in the banking industry before quitting. Later, in 2009, she determined to develop a career in the entertainment industry and received the support of her whole family. However, she failed to shine as she was overshadowed by many more actresses who are prettier and more talented. she gradually withdrew from the entertainment circle and she has remained single until today.
