5th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) Socialite Abby Choi was brutally murdered and dismembered in Lung Mei Village, Tai Po on 24th February. Her close friend, Moka Fang, wife of Hong Kong actor and singer Aaron Kwok is struggling to come to terms with the tragedy. She made her first public appearance yesterday since the incident and shared a recent photo on social media. She revealed that she went to the cinema to support her husband, Aaron Kwok, in his new movie. She shared her thoughts on the post and said, “I just watched the Hong Kong premiere of ‘Cyber Heist.’ It’s a completely new genre of movie that focuses on cybercrime. The filming techniques were innovative, the plot was intense, and the visual effects were impressive, making it feel like you were playing a video game. The movie touched on themes of family, which gave me a sense of emotional connection. It’s definitely worth seeing on the big screen. Although my two children wanted to come along, there was a scene where their father is chased by bad guys, and I was worried they would be upset, so I decided against bring them along.”
Although Fang did not directly address the tragic loss of her dear friend, it was clear from her pale complexion, tired demeanour, and slightly swollen eyes that she has yet to fully recover from the grief. She expressed gratitude towards her friend for flying to Hong Kong to accompany her during this difficult time, saying, “Thanks to my friend for coming all the way here to be with me these past few days.”
