24th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) At about 10.22am, staff at Grand Pub in May Bong Mansion, 221‑225 Sai Yeung Choi Street North, Prince Edward, reported that a 52‑year‑old male manager, surnamed Hu, had sustained injuries to his hand. Emergency responders arrived and conveyed him to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment, where he was conscious. Bloodstains were found inside the premises. Following preliminary enquiries, police believe the man may have used a utility knife in a suspected suicide attempt, and no note was recovered at the scene. It is understood he had recently faced financial difficulties. Investigations continue.
