Spooky Halloween returns to Wan Chai Harbourfront

30th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) FWD Insurance Presents Spooky Halloween 2026 opened today at the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space, turning the waterfront beside Wan Chai Ferry Pier into a three-night mix of giant pop-culture landmarks, carnival play and neon-lit Main Stage music through 1st November.

Families, teens and fans can wander past nine-metre-tall Attack on Titan and Godzilla installations, custom giant inflatables by Matt Gondek, and the CLOT Parade of Demons haunted maze — the streetwear brand’s first horror labyrinth for the festival. Beyond the photo stops sit massive inflatable slides, a Halloween bouncy castle, game booths and food stalls from popular local restaurants, pitched as an immersive festive playground rather than a concert-only night out.

Opening day brought a lively celebrity sprinkle. Singer Elanne Kong arrived with husband Oscar Siu and their son Owen, who turned up in a Spider-Man costume ready to eat and play. Chung Pui-sang also appeared at his HKTCG trading-card booth, drawing fans for pictures.

Street-culture figure DJ Kpee — Kevin Poon — took the decks, and longtime friend Edison Chen swung by to support him. After posing with fans who had waited early, Chen briefly joined the stage for a warm reception of his 2007 track Do You Remember Me, greeted the crowd and said in Cantonese that Hong Kong was “sort of my home” and he was “happy to be back”. He tossed his cap and headscarf into the audience as gifts, then left within about three minutes and drove away.

The music programme has shifted since earlier billing. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Holy Priest and Ne-Yo will not perform on 30th October and 1st November. Organisers said Ne-Yo will instead return for a Hong Kong solo concert on Saturday 15th May 2027. Holders of 1st November carnival or Main Stage tickets can use their order number for priority registration toward that show via the official Google Form linked on the KKTIX event page.

In light of the lineup changes, KKTIX will email Main Stage ticket holders for both 30th October and 1st November about full refunds of ticket fees and service charges to the original payment method within 45 working days; no refund application is required. Carnival tickets for those nights have been upgraded so a single pass now covers both the Carnival Zone and Main Stage performances, from just HK$50 for concession guests aged 17 or below and HK$170 for adults, with three game tokens at HK$100.

The confirmed Main Stage bills are now Youuke Yukimatsu, AK Sports, DJ Kpee with a secret guest and DJ Ivan on Friday; K-pop act Meovv with Alton, Anson Kong, Frankie and Lokman of Mirror, plus Viva and IdG Bubbles on Saturday; and Marf of Collar, Kiri T, Gordon Flanders, Hoho One — Eric Kwok and Dan James — and DJ Plsfix on Sunday. A limited CLOT VIP bundle at HK$2,650 adds meet-and-greet time with Chen, a signed poster, VIP viewing and exclusive Talisman merch for Day 1 buyers who check in on time.

Carnival hours run 4.00pm to 10.00pm today and noon to 10.00pm on Saturday and Sunday; the Main Stage plays daily from 6.00pm to 10.30pm at 3 Hung Hing Road. Children aged 14 or below must be accompanied by an adult of 18 or above. Organisers apologised for the artist changes, thanked ticket holders for their patience, and invited Hong Kong to keep the Halloween weekend rolling at the harbourfront.
