18th July 2020 – (Hong Kong) Dr.Chuang Shuk-kwan from Centre For Health Protection announced that Case 1635 was infected while playing ping pong with Case 1635 and Case 1738 who were infected earlier at Victory Table Tennis Sports Centre in San Po Kong.
According to the latest announcement by the operator of Victory Table Tennis Sports Centre, they have used Japanese medical-grade nano silver ion and photocatalyst technology to conduct full disinfection on the 16th July. After drying, it will form an antibacterial coating and continue to sterilise. All other table tennis supplies, such as table tennis balls, table tennis bags and table tennis nets, have been thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant.
