20th August 2024 – (Hong Kong) Yao Ming, former NBA star and current president of the Chinese Basketball Association, and his family were recently spotted in Hong Kong, drawing attention to the remarkable height of his 14-year-old daughter, Yao Qilei.
Photos from a recent charity event show Yao Qilei standing taller than her mother, Ye Li, who herself measures over 190cm. Yao Qilei, born in Houston in 2010, has been noted for her towering stature since a young age, exceeding the height of most adults.
Yao Ming has expressed his support for his daughter’s future career choices, stating that he will provide guidance but ultimately allow her to pursue her own passions, including basketball if she chooses.
