28th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) A video circulated online on 27th October shows a man, believed to be a construction worker, pushing an motorcycle along a cycle track in the Anderson Road area when he was halted by a police officer. The man, who later removed his helmet, was heard objecting to the officer’s proximity and telling him not to touch him. The footage ends without capturing the officer’s full response, leaving the exchange unresolved on camera.

Social media users questioned whether an e‑motorcycle is permitted on a cycle track and called for action against dangerous riding. Some commenters claimed the vehicle was not towed and that the rider was cautioned for around half an hour before being allowed to leave at about 8.00am, with the motorcycle’s registration reportedly recorded.

A separate image shared in a nearby housing estate owners’ group appeared to show the same man seated on the e‑motorcycle while police and a traffic warden handled the matter. The post included complaints about poor behaviour allegedly linked to some site workers in the vicinity and challenged why the rider believed the e‑motorcycle could be taken onto a cycle track.
