25th September 2020 – (Hong Kong) A 32-year-old man who graduated with first-class honours from the Department of Computer Science was suspected of being tortured by his 7-year-long girlfriend. The woman used a hairdryer to burn his penis and resulted in blisters. The female defendant appeared in court in July to defend herself. She fell in love with the male victim at first sight, and had sex with him, she claimed that the victim didn’t want to wear a condom, because “every time he wore it, his penis would turn flaccid fast”.
The girl was suspected to used scissors to stab into her boyfriend’s chest and blew his penis with a hairdryer, causing his penis to form blisters. After the case was concluded in the District Court last month, it was decided today (25th) in the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts that the victim as an honest and reliable witness, and ruled that the female defendant was guilty of four counts of wounding with intent and one count of assault causing bodily harm. The judge decided to adjourn the case until October 16th, during which time the defendant can obtain psychological, spiritual, and background reports to assist in sentencing. During this period, the defendant must be remanded in custody at the Siu Lam Psychiatric Centre.
