27th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) At around 6.30am, a serious traffic collision occurred outside Avignon Tower 1, 1 Kwun Chui Road, So Kwun Wat, New Territories, involving a large coach and an Ora private electric car. The impact left a woman trapped inside the car before firefighters arrived to free her. The car was subsequently towed from the scene and the area was cleared after initial examinations by police and emergency crews.
Paramedics assessed the woman at the roadside and transported her for further checks. Lane closures led to brief congestion on approaches to Kwun Chui Road while recovery work was under way.
