2nd November 2026 – (Hong Kong) A suspected drowning incident occurred at Clear Water Bay Second Beach this morning at 7.18am, when a woman was discovered in distress while swimming. Bystanders on the scene quickly pulled her from the water and administered first aid before emergency services arrived. The 69-year-old woman, who was found unconscious, was taken by ambulance to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment but she was subsequently certified dead at 9.36am.
