In her Facebook livestream, Cordero revealed that she had been experiencing severe chest pain, sweating profusely, and fainting due to high blood pressure and low oxygen levels. “I’m going in for a procedure to clear a blockage in my heart. Please don’t worry; I wanted to let everyone know what’s happening. I will be taking a break from Facebook, YouTube, and WeChat for the next few days to focus on my recovery,” she stated.
Cordero expressed her apologies to fans for the sudden interruption in her live performances, stating, “I need to rest after the surgery. Thank you all for your understanding.” Messages of support flooded in from fellow entertainers, all wishing her a smooth procedure and a swift recovery.
