20th September 2023 – (Hong Kong) Renowned Hong Kong actor and singer Aaron Kwok graced the racecourse tonight accompanied by his wife, Moka Fang. They were there to cheer on their beloved horse, Dancing Code, in the thrilling Race 7. The outcome exceeded all expectations as Dancing Code ridden by jockey Vincent C Y Ho, emerged victorious as the hot favourite, securing a prize money of HK$1,041,600. This remarkable win also marked Ho’s triumphant return to racing after recovering from an injury.
Aaron Kwok, an avid horse racing enthusiast, expressed his joy in the aftermath of the race. Despite the nail-biting nature of the competition, he maintained a calm and composed demeanour, fully aware of the immense support from horse racing enthusiasts. Kwok expressed his delight in not disappointing his fans, emphasising the significance of their unwavering backing.
One of the major concerns leading up to the race was the heavy handicap burden carried by the Dancing Code. However, Ho exhibited exceptional skills and determination, defying the 135-pound top weight to deliver an outstanding performance. Kwok acknowledged the diligent care provided by trainer Benno Fok, who has been nurturing Dancing Code in the stables. With this victory, Dancing Code will be promoted to the second class, and Kwok expressed his hopes for continued success in future races.
