10th March 2025 – (Hong Kong) A traffic incident occurred on Route Twisk early on 10th March, resulting in injuries to four individuals. At approximately midnight, a dark-coloured private vehicle, carrying two passengers, was descending towards Tsuen Wan when it collided head-on with an orange car carrying two men, which was ascending towards Pat Heung.

Witnesses reported that one of the drivers appeared to be trapped. The driver of the dark vehicle was unable to exit his car due to a damaged door, necessitating intervention from firefighters to pry open the door and rescue him.

In total, three men and one woman sustained injuries, all of whom were conscious and subsequently transported to hospital for treatment. Both vehicles suffered significant front-end damage, with shattered windshields, crumpled hoods, and deployed airbags. One vehicle’s pump was also dislodged during the impact. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.

The incident caused temporary disruption to traffic in both directions along the road. Preliminary reports suggest that the dark vehicle may have lost control while attempting a turn, crossing into oncoming traffic before colliding with the orange car.
