30th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) A construction worker was injured at a building site on Ching Hiu Road in Sheung Shui at about 10.50am when an iron rod pierced his lower jaw, causing him to fall. Police and emergency personnel arrived promptly, rescued the man and transported him to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin for treatment. Officers have classified the case as an industrial accident and are following up.
The location is understood to be a Housing Department site.
