8th October 2025 – (Bali) Hong Kong television personality Jacquelin Ch’ng has embarked on a new chapter, marrying her non-celebrity beau, Matthew Wong, in a discreet ceremony on the Indonesian island. The wedding marks the actress’s second marriage, following her 2022 divorce from Taiwanese businessman Brian Yang.

The couple, who have been in a relationship for approximately a year and a half, exchanged vows at a hotel in Bali. In an effort to maintain the privacy of the occasion, the event was kept strictly off-camera, with guests reportedly instructed via the invitation that photography and video recording were prohibited at the venue.

Ms Ch’ng offered a small glimpse into her wedding day by sharing a behind-the-scenes clip of her preparation on social media, which featured her getting made up for the ceremony.

The intimate celebration was attended by a close-knit group of friends and family. Among the guests spotted were fellow actress Myolie Wu with her husband, as well as Ms Ch’ng’s sister, Lisa Ch’ng, and her partner, actor Mat Yeung. The party reportedly extended their festivities, enjoying an outdoor dinner together on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival “follow-up moon.”

According to reports, the groom, Mr Wong, who is known for his tall and commanding presence, holds a corporate position and is the son of a senior executive at a listed company. He is said to be highly regarded by his superiors in his professional life.
