18th March 2025 – (Hong Kong) A new video clip released on the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute has added fresh fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The footage, allegedly filmed by Kim Soo-Hyun, shows the two spending time together at Kim Sae-Ron’s home, contradicting his earlier denial of ever visiting her residence.
The video, unveiled on 18 March, depicts the pair watching television, with Kim Sae-Ron using a massage patch on her waist. In the recording, Kim Soo-Hyun is seen touching the patch to test its electrical sensation, while Kim Sae-Ron playfully comments to the camera, “It’s amazing! Have you tried it? You haven’t, right? If you put it on your stomach, it feels unbearable—like sticking tape on a cat’s back.”
The release of the footage comes amid accusations from Kim Sae-Ron’s family, who allege that the two were romantically involved while Sae-Ron was still underage. Kim Soo-Hyun and his agency, Gold Medalist, have consistently denied these claims, asserting that their relationship began only after she reached the legal age of consent.
In a statement issued earlier the same day, Gold Medalist reiterated that the agency had never demanded compensation from Kim Sae-Ron or pressured her to sell her assets. The agency also clarified that it had sent representatives to attend Sae-Ron’s funeral and pay respects. However, her family expressed dissatisfaction with the statement, citing the absence of an apology from Kim Soo-Hyun or his management.
The family has also announced plans to subject past photos of the pair to forensic analysis in an effort to prove the timeline of their relationship. The newly released video, coupled with claims that Kim Soo-Hyun asked Sae-Ron to switch messaging platforms in 2018, has intensified speculation about the nature and duration of their association.
