15th September 2024 – (New Delhi) Cantopop singer Faye Wong has been spotted in India, where she participated in a Buddhist ceremony dressed in traditional robes. Known for her strong ties to Tibetan Buddhism, Wong has previously sung at Buddhist events and released a music album titled Heart Sutra. Her recent appearance in India coincides with her stable relationship with fellow artist Nicholas Tse, with whom she has frequently been seen.
In photos circulating online, Wong is seen smiling gently while holding flowers and engaging with children, exuding a serene and ethereal presence. Despite her understated attire, she remains a prominent figure, embodying the grace of a pop icon. This is not the first time Wong has visited India for spiritual purposes; she was previously photographed attending a Buddhist event in Bodh Gaya in 2016 alongside friends Tony Leung and Hu Jun.
