22nd July 2023 – (Hong Kong) MTR Corporation announced this evening that the MTR Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Stop for the Light Rail service has been temporarily suspended. The public is advised to consider alternative transportation options. Reports indicate that two Light Rail trains collided near the Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Stop, but no injuries were reported.
In response to the incident, some Light Rail routes will be diverted, including the 507 line, 614 line, and 614P line, which will not stop at Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Stop until further notice. MTR has arranged free shuttle buses to transport affected passengers between Tuen Mun Ferry Pier and Sam Shing stations.
