15th December 2022 – (Hong Kong) IKEA posted on its Facebook page today that it is offering flash sale of real 150cm or 200cm Christmas trees at only HK$50 each. The special offer is available only at its stores and not online.
Hundreds of customers flocked to IKEA stores in Causeway Bay to buy the trees as Christmas is only 10 days away. Only self pick-up and no delivery can be arranged.
However, the number of trees available is limited. IKEA stated on its Facebook page at 3pm that trees at its stores in Sha Tin, Kowloon Bay, and Tsuen Wan were sold out within a short period of time However, IKEA officially added that a small amount of trees will be replenished tomorrow, and a large number of netizens left messages below the post to ask for the time of the restocking.
