12th January 2021 – (Hong Kong) On 21st December last year, Little Creatures at 5A, New Praya, Kennedy Town announced that it would close down by end of 2020. The waterfront brewery was probably the only huge gastrobar in Hong Kong that served Australian craft beer and casual food.
Just like many restaurants in the hardest hit F&B industry, it finally succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic and closed its doors at the end of December. The ban on dine-in services had definitely taken a toll on its business.
According to its Facebook statement, ‘Little Creatures Hong Kong was the first overseas location for Little Creatures outside of Australia and in the four and a half years it has operated, we have served over half a million amazing customers from all around the world. We thank our incredible team for their passion for bringing Little Creatures to Hong Kong and our customers and partners for supporting us over this time. The good news is that the venue will re-open with a new operator and new concept in the New Year – watch this space. Please come enjoy a few more pints and hang with us for the last time before Dec 27th.’
