All persons entering Zhuhai from Macao must implement “7+7” quarantine measures


22nd June 2022 – (Hong Kong) The COVID-19 situation in Macao is severe. The Zhuhai-Macao Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism, in accordance with the changes in the epidemic situation, announced today (22nd) that after consultation, it will adjust the quarantine measures for entry into Zhuhai via Macao, including the implementation of 7-day centralised quarantine and 7-day home health monitoring.

All persons entering Zhuhai from Macao must implement the “7+7” quarantine measures of “7-day centralised quarantine + 7-day home health monitoring.”

The Guangdong-Macao cross-border truck drivers, funeral home delivery personnel, critically ill medical treatment personnel and emergency public officials can be exempted, and point-to-point closed-loop management will be implemented after entering through the Zhuhai-Macao port. The authorities stated that all personnel and individuals must strictly abide by the above-mentioned epidemic prevention policies, and those who violate the epidemic will be investigated for relevant legal responsibilities. Citizens and tourists are also reminded to reduce all unnecessary activities, stay at home as much as possible, and strictly abide by various epidemic prevention measures.
