3rd November 2026 – (Hong Kong) A magazine report claims tennis player Coleman Wong and actress Mandy Tam had already moved into a Sai Kung villa while he was still publicly linked to Constance Chan, daughter of singer Eason Chan, after their six-month romance ended in a swirl of overlapping timelines.

Ms Chan, 22, and Mr Wong, also 22 and often styled Hong Kong’s top men’s tennis player, confirmed their relationship in April. By mid-October he said on a live stream that he was single again and wanted to focus on tennis; she said they had parted by mutual agreement and admitted feeling “a bit low”. The next day he was photographed with Ms Tam, 25, at a Guangzhou Nansha tournament — breakfast together, courtside embraces and kisses, and a family photograph after the match that fuelled talk of a seamless switch.

According to sources cited by the magazine, the pair had already grown close in August. Ms Tam is said to have pressed for cohabitation soon after, found a roughly 2,000-square-foot Sai Kung house with a garden and estate pool, and moved in in early September on a rent of about HK$50,000 a month that Mr Wong allegedly covered in full. Insiders said that whenever he was in Hong Kong the two stayed close, while he often made excuses to Ms Chan, who noticed his absences even when he was not competing. She had still spoken sweetly about choosing his match over her father’s concert in a mid-September radio interview; shortly afterwards the couple unfollowed each other online.

At the NBA China Games 2026 in Macau in early October, the magazine says, Mr Wong and Ms Tam arrived separately and kept their distance in public, then left together in the same seven-seater, appearing affectionate inside the vehicle. Online sleuths also noted that from mid-September he liked almost every one of her Instagram posts, while Ms Chan’s last like on Ms Tam’s feed was on 13th September — around the time their mutual unfollow was spotted. Ms Tam later liked Ms Chan’s Paris 22nd-birthday post on 15th October, a rare gesture that drew sharp online comment.

Eason Chan had introduced the tennis player to his daughter, and the pair once flew to Paris for the French Open to cheer from the front row. Sources told the magazine he had trusted Mr Wong’s game and character, now feels both anger and guilt that the introduction left his daughter hurt, and has privately said he will have no further dealings with him. Ms Chan has said her parents are supporting her. Volleyball coach and restaurant owner Austin Au Hin-yeung, linked to Ms Tam as recently as a March ski trip, posted three Instagram items after the Guangzhou images surfaced, including a green-stained palm, which some readers took as a hint he felt wronged. Friends quoted by the magazine also painted Ms Tam as competitive and image-conscious in private, while Mr Wong was later seen shopping in Admiralty with his mother, phone in hand between polite snaps with fans, before flying on to compete in Korea.
