2nd November 2026 – (Stuttgart) La Marzocco and Porsche have reunited for a fresh collaboration paying homage to the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7, unveiling special‑edition Linea Micra espresso machines and Pico grinders that mirror the sports car’s heritage styling. The collection follows earlier joint projects, including a 911 Carrera RSR‑inspired Linea Micra and a one‑off Linea Mini crafted by Officine Fratelli Bambi based on a 1979 Porsche 911, underscoring a design affinity between the Italian espresso pioneer and the German marque.
The new pieces arrive in three RS 2.7‑influenced colourways for the Linea Micra and the Pico: Tangerine paired with Grand Prix White and Green, and, exclusively for Germany, Grand Prix White and Blue. Production is tightly limited to 911 units for each standard colourway, while the Germany‑only edition is restricted to 150, reinforcing the collector appeal around the series and its association with one of Porsche’s most celebrated road‑legal, lightweight 911s.
Design flourishes lift cues directly from the car. “Carrera RS” script runs along the machine’s flank in the style of the original side decals, while “RS” and “2.7” markings appear on the water and steam knobs. An RS 2.7 badge and the dual brand logos complete the treatment, blending automotive iconography with La Marzocco’s compact home‑barista form factor and engineering.
Pricing is set at €5,790 for the Linea Micra and €1,550 for the Pico grinder, with availability through Porsche’s retail channels. The collaboration taps into the enduring cult following of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 — the first 911 to carry the Carrera name — and channels its reputation for striking design, rigorous weight saving and strong performance into a countertop statement aimed at design‑minded coffee enthusiasts and Porsche aficionados alike.
