1st November 2026 – (London) Five teenagers were seriously injured after stabbings at a Halloween party on Park Road in Chandler’s Ford, near Eastleigh, shortly after 10.30pm GMT on Saturday. Officers said an unidentified group is believed to have gained entry to the address before the attack. Three 16‑year‑old boys and two 17‑year‑old boys were taken to hospital, as a police cordon remained in place on Sunday while detectives examined the scene and conducted house‑to‑house inquiries.
Hampshire Police confirmed a major investigation is under way and appealed for anyone with information, dashcam footage or phone video from the area to come forward. Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie acknowledged the incident’s impact on residents and thanked the community for its patience as searches and forensic work continued through the day.
Witness accounts described a rapid emergency response, with multiple ambulances attending and an air ambulance deployed. One eyewitness said they saw a person running from the house, shouting that he had been stabbed and that he was being chased by two people. Officers urged the public not to circulate unverified claims while efforts focus on establishing the sequence of events and identifying those responsible.
In a message posted on X, Eastleigh MP Liz Jarvis said her thoughts were with the victims, their families and all those affected, and thanked local police and emergency services for their swift response. Detectives are expected to review nearby CCTV and speak to partygoers and neighbours in the coming days as the inquiry progresses.
