29th October 2026 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival opened this evening at the Central Harbourfront Event Space and Tamar Park, marking a four‑day showcase of international wines and local cuisine set against Victoria Harbour. Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the event runs from 7.30pm to 12.00am tonight, from 1.00pm to 1.00am on Friday and Saturday, and from 1.00pm to 12.00am on Sunday, with entry via the Admiralty gate next to Tamar Park or the Central gate beside Central Pier No. 10. The organiser has positioned the festival as the launchpad for November’s Hong Kong Gourmet Month, a citywide programme of tastings, collaborations and late‑night dining highlights.

Exhibitors said the later closing time to 1.00am on Friday and Saturday may not significantly lift sales by the bottle, even as the festival expands in scale and welcomes new overseas participants. The 2026 edition features more than 340 booths, representing an increase of over ten per cent from last year, with wines and gastronomy from over 30 countries and regions.

At the opening, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law said the festival underscores Hong Kong’s role as an East‑meets‑West culinary hub and forms part of a broader “mega event + tourism” push designed to extend visitor stays and spending. Law, who has served as Secretary since December 2024, highlighted the integration of culture, sports and tourism in the government’s events calendar.
