31st October 2026 – (Hong Kong) Footage shared online this afternoon showed a restaurant inside Airside at Kai Tak with water streaming from at least six spots in the ceiling shortly after 2.00pm, creating columns of falling water that gave the interior the look of a cavernous waterfall. The spectacle quickly attracted passers-by who stopped to take photographs and videos as staff worked to manage the situation.

Reporters who visited the mall at about 4.00pm were told by employees that the restaurant had temporarily closed because of the incident but had since reopened to customers. No injuries were reported and other outlets in the vicinity appeared to be operating as normal while enquiries were made into the cause of the leak.
