11th August 2026 – (Hong Kong) Louis Vuitton is moving to put food and drink inside its long-awaited K11 MUSEA flagship in Tsim Sha Tsui, after a liquor-licence notice pointed to Hong Kong’s first LE Café and LV The Place Hong Kong — an exclusive first reported by HK01 as fit-out on Asia’s largest LV store enters its final stretch.
The applicant named on the notice is Victor Bernard Judeaux, Louis Vuitton’s Head of Hospitality for North Asia, underscoring how seriously the brand is treating F&B at the 40,000-square-foot concept store. The filing covers both LE Café and LV The Place Hong Kong; if approved and opened, the pair would add a major experiential layer to a shop already billed as one of LV’s biggest in Asia.
LV The Place is the house’s newer destination format, folding high-end retail, a specialty café, a chef-led restaurant and immersive exhibition space into one “retail-tainment” landmark rather than a conventional boutique. The first permanent flagship of that type opened in March 2024 at Gaysorn Amarin in Bangkok as LV The Place Bangkok, with a Louis Vuitton boutique, Le Café Louis Vuitton, Gaggan at Louis Vuitton under celebrated Indian chef Gaggan Anand, and a free immersive show — quickly becoming one of the Thai capital’s hottest photo stops. Seoul has a parallel Le Café Louis Vuitton and LV The Place Seoul.
Hong Kong’s site sits on K11 MUSEA’s ground-floor waterfront strip beside the Avenue of Stars and Victoria Harbour. Hoarding already uses the brand’s classic trunk motif and draws tourists before opening day. The store is expected to launch by the end of 2026. Earlier Bloomberg reporting said New World Development, stock code 0017, will take rent linked to the shop’s turnover rather than a traditional fixed lease — a structure that ties the landlord’s take to how hard the megastore trades once doors open.
