Kishi’s early life was shaped by his single-parent family, with his father taking care of him and his siblings. Despite his tendency to get bored easily and quit activities, Kishi’s father encouraged him to pursue his interests, leading him to develop a range of hobbies, such as soccer, karate, piano, and even ballet classes. In elementary school, he played baseball, showcasing his versatility and passion for different pursuits.

In 2009, during his second year of middle school, Kishi joined the renowned Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates, marking the beginning of his journey in the entertainment industry. He participated in Koichi Domoto’s musical, “Endless Shock,” for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015, demonstrating his talent for both acting and singing.

Kishi’s acting career took off with his debut in the TV drama “Kamen Teacher” in 2013, where he portrayed the character Shishimaru, one of the key students. He went on to secure lead roles in dramas such as “Oniichan, Gacha” and “Night Doctor,” earning accolades for his performances. In recognition of his talent, Kishi received the TVnavi Drama of the Year award for Best New Actor and the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix Award for Best Supporting Actor.

On 22nd May, 2023, Kishi announced his departure from King & Prince and, subsequently, from Johnny & Associates on 30th September, 2023. However, Kishi wasted no time in embracing new opportunities. On 15th October, 2023, he was unveiled as the newest member of TOBE and joined forces with Sho Hirano and Yuta Jinguji to form the new group “Number_i.” The trio’s debut was met with immense popularity, as evidenced by the 670,000 viewers who tuned in to their live performance at Tokyo Dome.
