7th September 2026 – (Hong Kong) Xiaomi will unveil the Pad 9 Pro Max on 7th September at 7.00pm, positioning the device as a professional‑grade productivity tablet built around a 13.3‑inch display and support for PC‑class apps. The company says the model debuts its in‑house Xring O3 AI flagship processor aimed at “desktop‑class” performance, alongside the first release of HyperOS 4 tuned for large‑screen workflows and office and creative use cases.
According to Xiaomi’s advance materials, the Xring O3 employs a 10‑core, all‑big‑core CPU architecture clocked up to about 4.35GHz and a 16‑core G2‑Ultra NX GPU. Versus the previous generation, the company claims an 85 per cent uplift in GPU performance with 64 per cent lower power consumption, figures presented as manufacturer benchmarks. The tablet is expected to offer an optional matte “soft‑light” screen, configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a battery exceeding 10,000mAh, and 120w wired fast charging to sustain the demands of a large, high‑performance panel. Final specifications and availability will be confirmed at launch.
Industry listings and reports in recent days have also tied the Pad 9 Pro Max to the Xring O3 platform, which has appeared in pre‑launch testing as Xiaomi’s first tablet on its own flagship silicon. These references align with Xiaomi’s stated plan to debut the chip in the Pad 9 Pro Max at the 7th September event.
