24th August 2026 – (Beijing) Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, has highlighted the need to consolidate and expand the advances achieved through a recent Party-wide study and education campaign focused on promoting a correct understanding of governance. In written instructions circulated at a recent meeting of the Party’s Central Leading Group for Party Building, Xi, who also serves as President of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed the continued importance of embedding the principles learned, further improving governance standards across all levels of the Party.
