Woman suffers head injury as glass cup falls from heights in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Mirador Mansion Shopping Centre

3rd March 2024 – (Hong Kong) At around 9am today, a woman in her thirties was walking through the Mirador Mansion Shopping Centre located at 54-64 Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui when she was struck on the head by a glass cup that appeared to have fallen from a considerable height. The impact caused a deep gash on her head, resulting in profuse bleeding. Miraculously, the victim remained conscious throughout the ordeal. Paramedics promptly arrived at the scene to provide immediate medical assistance, carefully bandaging her head wound before transporting her to the hospital. Remarkably, the injured woman managed to walk to the ambulance unaided.

Upon inspection of the area, glass shards and a single slice of lemon were found on the ground, suggesting that the incident occurred due to a glass cup falling from a higher level within the mall. Additionally, there were traces of blood at the spot where the incident took place. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate accident.
