29th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) A man, aged 66, reported to the police at around 3pm on 28th May that he had found his wife surnamed Cheung unconscious at their home in Pak Ngan Heung, Mui Wo, Lantau Island. He suspected that his wife had hanged herself with a nylon rope and had untied her when he found her. Paramedics arrived on the scene and rushed the woman to a clinic in Mui Wo, but she was pronounced dead shortly after. No suicide note was found at the scene, and the cause of death is pending an autopsy. It is reported that the woman had a medical history.
