26th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) A fire broke out in a unit in Ching Huen House, Shui Chuen O Estate in Sha Tin this morning (26th May) at 9.51am, causing thick smoke to billow out and alarming other residents who then reported the incident to the authorities. Firefighters arrived at the scene, broke down the door, and extinguished the flames. They discovered the body of a woman inside the unit. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and efforts are being made to contact the family of the deceased.
A pet Pomeranian dog was also present and was taken care of by police officers temporarily. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
