13th December 2019 – (Hong Kong) To support Art development in Hong Kong, Lee Tung Avenue has kicked off the Wings of Christmas project with First Initiative Foundation to spread a message of perfect harmony this Christmas.  Feathered Ascent created by Nicholas Cheung, an award-winning international Multimedia and Lighting Installation artist, will be displayed at Lee Tung Avenue. This installation with a flock of fifty dove mobile sculptures which marries science with creativity, will shine in the sky of Lee Tung Avenue in winter. To delight the festival, the world-renowned Spirit of Christmas light scheme by The Crown Estate’s Regent Street is also returning to Lee Tung Avenue to bring everyone a magical festive celebration.  The joyous atmosphere will be further enriched with Christmas Food Carts to deliver festive refreshments and performances from different organizations. Christmas Carols Spreading Holiday Cheer Food Carriage Bringing Warmth

Different organizations such as Child Development Matching Fund, Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, The Salvation Army, BeConfident Alliance and Jean M. Wong School of Ballet are about to sing Christmas carols or perform on selected dates and time to invite all of us to this jubilation. Astro Boy is coming to town! Pop-up Stores with Limited Edition Toys and Collectibles 

Osamu Tezuka is regarded as Japan’s King of Manga. His monumental work “Astro Boy” was and still is a beloved manga for lots of people. Collaboration with in-theatres Movie, Take Romantic Christmas Photos with Lighting Hearts

This year, Lee Tung Avenue joins hand with the festive in-theatres movie “Last Christmas” to bring everyone a romantic festival. Not only are there the movie’s song album as the festive background music, but also photo-taking area with movie posters and illuminated heart-shaped decoration of the utmost romance. Those who have already seen the movie should have noticed that “The Spirit of Christmas” lighting now at Lee Tung Avenue is also in the movie!

Great News for Foodies! New Popular Restaurants at Lee Tung Avenue

Although this winter seems to be far more freezing, warmth can still be found at Lee Tung Avenue, at which Kaneko Hannosuke and Liu Yi Shou Chong Qing Hot Pot have arrived. Kaneko Hannosuke was launched by the chairperson of Japanese cook association after his name. With great and special TENDON, a rice bowl with tempuras on it, the restaurant has been known by every Japanese. Now we can enjoy such delicacy without the need to fly so far to Japan. 

Spicy Sichuan-style hot pot is a second-to-none eating choice in winter. At Liu Yi Shou Chong Qing Hot Pot, you can enjoy the hot pot with your friends and family, and have warmth filled in both your body and heart. Besides, the restaurant will introduce sushi set, Christmas-style wagyu beef and other ingredients that best fit the festive ambience on 13th December. A wedding special set menu will also be introduced at Lee Tung Avenue branch only. This is Hong Kong’s first wedding venue with hot pot available. All guests may then easily feel the joy and warmth.
