7th September 2023 – (Venice) Kanye West and Bianca Censori have once again found themselves at the centre of controversy during their stay in Italy. Recent reports indicate that the couple encountered restrictions when attempting to rent a boat in Venice due to an incident involving indecent exposure.
The incident took place last Monday as the rapper and his spouse were cruising through the scenic canals of the historic city on a water taxi. In a series of snapshots, Bianca was seen kneeling before Kanye, who occupied a bench and firmly held the back of her head. Another image captured Kanye with his pants lowered, revealing a glimpse of his lower back.
Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, the boat rental company that provided the vessel to the couple, has announced that West and Censori will be permanently banned from renting their boats in the future. The company stated that their staff had no knowledge of the Grammy winner’s inappropriate behavior onboard until the photos surfaced in the public eye last week.
The spokesperson emphasized that the boat’s operator was solely focused on safely piloting the vessel and did not witness these inappropriate actions. If such behaviour had been observed, immediate action would have been taken, and the relevant authorities would have been notified.
Venezia Turismo Motoscafi also pointed out the presence of a third person on the taxi, who accompanied the couple and obstructed the captain’s view towards the rear of the boat.
The Italian rental company strongly condemned the explicit incident involving West and Censori, expressing their complete disapproval of such conduct and actions.
During the outing, West was dressed entirely in black and partially concealed his face with a cloth while seated on the vessel. His spouse was photographed seated nearby, below deck.
Upon docking, Censori, 28, adjusted her leather trench coat as they disembarked from the boat, accompanied by an unidentified female companion.
The Venetian boat rental company, Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, has since confirmed that Kanye West and Bianca Censori have been banned for life following their indecent exposure scandal in Italy last week.
The couple sparked controversy when they were seen engaging in an amorous moment on a water taxi in Venice, with West exposing his bare buttocks in front of onlookers.
Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, known for its celebrity clientele, including Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck, denounced the couple’s behaviour and stated that they are no longer welcome aboard their boats.
Critics online have argued that Kanye’s indecent exposure constitutes public indecency, which could result in a fine of up to €309 (AU$520) according to the Italian Constitutional Court.
The incident has drawn criticism from commenters who believe such behaviour should be kept private, and some have called for the Italian authorities to take action against the couple.
Concerned fans have also expressed worry about Bianca’s well-being and questioned the nature of her relationship with Kanye, suggesting that she may need assistance or intervention.
It is unclear whether West and Censori’s actions in Italy are part of a publicity stunt to promote an upcoming album and fashion line, as there has been speculation regarding their intentions.
Throughout their Italian holiday, West and Censori have faced criticism for their wardrobe choices, with locals finding Bianca’s revealing outfits inappropriate in the conservative Catholic country.
The couple’s behaviour has provoked mixed reactions, with some labelling it disrespectful and others expressing concern for their actions. The extent of any potential punishment for their behaviour remains uncertain.
Kanye and Bianca tied the knot in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills in January, shortly after the rapper’s divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized.
