15th July 2019 – (Hong Kong) Waterfall Bay Park is a bay in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong island. It is named after the waterfall that flows into it.
The park includes family-friendly paths that are easy for kids but unfortunately the trails are not dog-friendly. Along the trail, you will see lots of coastal views and interesting cultural relics left by local residents. You can also stop by the various bbq and picnic sites to have some food or BBQ if you wish.
The distance of the path is 2.7 km long (Duration : 1 hr approx.) with mostly flat terrain.
The path starts at Cyberport Waterfront Park and ends at Tin Wan Praya Road.
Directions from Kennedy Town:
Take minibus number 58 or 58M from Kennedy town Station bus Terminus to Cyberport Waterfront park.
Directions from Central:
Take bus number 40M to Wah Fu(North), ride 25 stops and get off on Wah Fu Commercial Complex. Continue to walk on Wah Fu Road to reach the Waterfall Bay Park
Go into the Cyberport Waterfront Park and turn left. Walk towards the apartment at the end and exit from the park before turning right.
Walk uphill along Cyberport Road for around 7 minutes before you climb over the barrier just before an apartment in front.
Follow the trail downhill and you will cross a stream
On your right, you will see a resting area. Climb over the blue fence and continue to walk towards the BBQ pit.
You will see a staircase next to a yellow garbage bin. Descend the staircase until the end.
Climb over the blue fence to the right and continue to descend before reaching the waterfall and the beach.
To return, go up the staircase, turn right and continue to walk along the promenade until you reach Tin Wan Praya Road. You can then take a bus or taxi to go home.
