18th October 2020 – (Hong Kong) Since the anti-extradition demonstrations broke out in Hong Kong last year, many government departments and agencies have set up water-filled barricades outside their entrances to prevent damages caused by the violent riots.

As the violent demonstrations have eased in recent months, the water-filled barricades in front of Wan Chai Police Headquarters have been removed this evening after 15 months. However, the Liaison Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Chief Executive’s Office, and the Legislative Council are still surrounded by water-filled barricades.
