22nd January 2020 – (Hong Kong) Wilson Stage 2 guarantees hikers breath-taking views of the Hong Kong/Kowloon skyline from Jardine’s Lookout, the old quarry on the eastern corridor and Stanley. You can then ascend to Siu Ma Shan to enjoy more views of the Hong Kong skyline before descending to Tai Koo/Quarry Bay via Mount Butler Road.

Take bus 6 or 66 from Exchange Square in Central, Admiralty MTR, or anywhere on Queen’s Road East and get off at the petrol station at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Stop. Go up the staircase to Tai Tam Reservoir Road. Keep walking on Tai Tam Reservoir Road until you see the Wilson Trail entrance on your left.
Follow the Jardine’s Lookout sign and keep ascending the stairs.
You will then reach the peak where you will see Tai Tam Reservoir in the distant background and the Quarry on your left.
You can also see Kowloon Peak in the distant background. Amongst the greens, Hong Kong Parkview tower stands out like a sore thumb. Keep walking until you see the Wison Trail leading you to Siu Ma Shan. Once you reach the top, you will be able to enjoy the 360 view of Hong Kong skyline.
You can then descend until you reach the Siu Ma Shan bridge. Head towards Braemar Hill and follow the trail towards Mount Butler Road before reaching King’s Road in Quarry Bay/Tai Koo. The descent is around 30 minutes.
