Veteran HK actor, Lam Chung passes away at 75 after suffering from heart attack


    2nd February 2021 – (Hong Kong) The veteran actor Lam Chung who have acted in many classic Hong Kong films passed away on 31st January due to a heart attack. He was 75 years old. The president of Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers confirmed the news. Lam Chung was born in Macau. He started filming in the early 1980s and had performed in 70 films. During his lifetime, he had worked with many local superstars such as Chow Yun Fat, Tony Leung and Andy Lau.

    He joined TVB in 1988 and filmed more than 20 dramas and movies. In 2000, he retired from the Hong Kong movie industry and settled in Zhanjiang 10 years ago. He continued to develop his acting career in the Mainland and served as a director and screenwriter behind the scenes.
