Updated iPhone SE available for online order at Hong Kong Apple Store at 8pm, 17th April from HK$3,399 onwards


16th April 2020 – (Hong Kong) The updated iPhone SE will start at US$399, or less than half the price of its flagship devices, and be available for order as of Friday in more than 40 markets. The price will be lowest in the last 4 years. Hong Kong Apple Store will start to accept online orders at 8pm on 17th April. There will also be a 12-month free membership of Apple TV+. The phone will be officially on sale on 24th April.

The newly launched iPhone SE (2020) follows the old generation iPhone design, but this time the relatively new iPhone 8 is used, the screen is increased from the previous 4 inches to 4.7 inches, and uses the same A13 bionic chip as the iPhone 11 Pro. In addition, it also retains the biggest feature of the old iPhone, the TouchID Home button. It also has a splash-proof and water-resistant design that can reach a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. However, the Hong Kong version supports eSIM, which is designed with a single SIM card slot.

Colors are available in black, white, and red, respectively, and are available in three capacities of 64GB / 128GB / 256GB. In terms of selling price, iPhone SE (2020) is priced at HK $ 3,399 (64GB) / HK $ 3,899 (128GB) / HK $ 4,699 (256GB) respectively.
