25th September 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 9.42am today, a passerby noticed a man walking along the shore near Wu Kai Sha Pier in Ma On SHan. The man appeared to be acting strangely, prompting concerned individuals to caution him about the sharp oyster shells present. Unexpectedly, the man proceeded to step into the sea and quickly found himself submerged.
Witnesses immediately called for help, and fortunately, a university exchange student happened to be passing by. Without hesitation, the student bravely jumped into the water to rescue the man. With great effort, the student managed to bring the unconscious man back to the shore. However, upon reaching land, it was evident that the man had fallen into a state of unconsciousness. An ambulance arrived at the scene and swiftly transported the man to Prince of Wales Hospital for urgent medical treatment. The man’s identity and the reasons behind his actions are currently under investigation.
