23rd June 2022 – (Zhuhai) 4 more imported COVID-19 cases from Macao were reported in Zhuhai yesterday. The Zhuhai Municipal Health Bureau of Guangdong Province announced on Thursday (23rd) that four new imported COVID-19 cases were added two days ago, all of which were from Macao. On Monday (20th), it was announced that the Gongbei District of Zhuhai City and the Guangdong–Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin which were originally scheduled to implement universal traffic control for 3 days, will extend the measure for another 3 days from Thursday.
The local authority in Zhuhai City announced on Wednesday that according to the current epidemic prevention and control situation in Xiangzhou District, it has decided to extend the existing temporary traffic control measures in Gongbei district and Baishi Community, Qianshan Street until next Sunday (26th) at 5 am.
The Coronavirus Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters in Guangdong–Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin also issued a notice to extend the implementation of temporary traffic control across the district until 12am next Sunday. During the traffic control period in the above two places, except for kindergartens and primary and secondary schools in the area, face-to-face teaching will continue to be suspended, and nucleic acid testing of all staff in the control area will be conducted once a day.
