Two victims remain in critical condition following fatal fire at New Lucky House in Jordan


19th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) New Lucky House in Jordan, experienced a devastating No.3 alarm fire on 10th April. As of today, 19th April, at 5pm, the latest figures from the Hospital Authority reveal the grim consequences of the fire. The incident has claimed the lives of five individuals, while leaving 40 others injured. Two female victims remain in critical condition, receiving medical care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital.

Among the deceased, three men and one woman were pronounced dead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, while another woman was confirmed to have passed away at Kwong Wah Hospital. The victims have been identified as a 67-year-old man surnamed Lai, a 70-year-old man surnamed Tsang, both of whom held Hong Kong identity cards. Additionally, there were two Indonesian individuals, a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, as well as a 56-year-old woman believed to be of Filipino nationality.
