10th October 2019 – (Hong Kong) After the campus of Chinese University of Hong Kong was vandalised and spray-painted earlier, two students clad in black with headgear were seen hoisting a ‘Hong Kong Independence’ flag within the campus. The two of them marched to the flag poles before hoisting the flag. During the process, they were oblivious to passerby and motorists who saw them.
On 25th September, students turned The University Mall into ‘Lennon highway’, many walls and areas were also severely vandalised. The university authority expressed regrets over the damages caused by the students and the university reserves its right to pursue disciplinary or possible legal action against the perpetrators.
